Spain has many beaches, so choosing five is never going to be to everyone's taste. Do you have another tip for us and our friends? Please let us know.

1. Playa Cala Salada (Ibiza): One of the most legendary beaches on the jet-set island. The small beach, close to San Antonio, is perfect for enjoying a quiet sunset and then going out to the nightlife and dancing until late at night to the music of world-famous DJs.

2. Playa de Cabopino (Marbella): One of Marbella's best-kept secrets, exceptionally clean sea, beautiful sandy beaches (including a nudist strip), a marina and many terraces and restaurants.

3.La Malagueta (Málaga): A cozy city beach with palm trees and chiringuitos, perfect for a day of sunbathing, a walk in the cruise port, eating and shopping in the early evening or dancing until late at night.

4. Playa de Ses Illetes (Formentera): Soft white sand and clear turquoise seawater in a paradise setting. You feel like you are in the Caribbean, but this beach, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, is actually located in the Mediterranean Sea.

5. Playa de la Carihuela (Torremolinos): The largest beach in Torremolinos with clean water and a pleasant atmosphere. Here, (almost) everything is open all year round, so even outside summer, there are sunbeds and parasols for rent.

And one more extra for surfers

Playa de As Furnas (A Coruña): In the north of Spain, this is a surfers' paradise. Jagged rock formations and wind that can really push the waves. Not only is the coast impressive here, the drive to the beach is also adventurous.
